Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ---
OH BABY! Signs & More announces holiday signs to help benefit local Angel Tree
Local Yard Sign Company to donate 10% of gross sales from holiday signs to local Christmas charity.
Johnson AR, November 13, 2008: Karmen Allen, owner of OH BABY! Signs & More, a local birth announcement sign rental company, announced today that they would be donating 10% of their gross revenues earned from the sale of holiday greeting signs to local Angel Tree charity.
The Holiday signs are 4 foot square hand crafted signs that consumers may place in their front yard to announce their holiday greetings to their neighborhood. The signs will sell for $45.00 each and will be kept by the purchaser.
Allen states that orders must be placed by December 5th and they expect to deliver signs to the customer’s house within 5 days of order placement. "We put our sign up for the first time last year" stated Allen "and the general response was extremely positive. People loved the idea." The Johnson based business plans on donating 10% of their gross sales of the signs to the Washington and Benton county Angel Tree program.
The Salvation Army’s website describes the Angel Tree Program "...provides new clothing and/or toys for children. A sponsoring company or corporation places a Christmas tree in a secure, high-pedestrian traffic area or lobby. The tree is decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child who will receive the gift. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags. The toys are then delivered to the unit and later picked up by the parent to distribute to the child/children on Christmas Day."
Allen states that their goal is to sell approximately 50 signs at the special holiday price of $45.00. She also states that they would donate 10% of the gross proceeds of the sales ($4.50 a sign) to the Angel tree. "I would love to be able to sell 100 or 200 signs" states Allen "Because for every sign we sell, the more that we can give to Angel Tree. As a new business we want to help contribute to worthy causes like this in the future."
The company will keep a running "goal thermometer" on their website along with details on how to order the signs. The URL for their site is http://www.ohbabysigns.com/

We've added some new signs!
With the expansion of the business into birthday greetings we have added a Nascar, a princess carriage, and two new 4 foot cakes. We have heard that some people would like to see a black cake (over the hill style).
Another thing we are going to be doing will be to offer our "Holiday Greeting" signs for sale. All orders will need to be in by December 5th for delivery within 5 business days. If you would be interested, please email Sales@ohbabysigns.com
As always if you have a request, send a message to Keith or Karmen @ohbabysigns.com
We also want to announce that we have commissioned a local artist, Hollie Henderson to design our Razorback sign. We have seen the original artwork and are very excited to get them into production. When Hollie lets us know what her actual website/blog is we will link up to it on our website and put a post here in the blog!!

Well, We added a blog!
Finding new and innovative ways to communicate with our customers has led to opening this blog. It is going to be really nice to have a way for people to keep up with us and our business!
I have never had the "Bug" to blog, but I hope that this will help us keep "fresh" ideas running.
We are complete with our primary construction phase and are beginning to see a steady stream of customers.
